Dream Groups

Over time, as the various psychological models of development have revealed their limitations to my mind, I have been shown the superior power of dreams in addressing issues of maturation or development in individuals and in groups. Through dreams I have been encouraged to observe life ever more closely, to increasingly align to its benign, restorative forces and to thoroughly explore the obstacles encountered in that process.

Further to my own inquiry, I sometimes facilitate dream groups to enable others to witness and experience for themselves the power of dreams in the restorative process.

This is a week-long, mornings-only, group which meets at the ancient barrow (now at the centre of Marlborough College) during the period of the heliacal rising of Sothis; a potent place at a potent time of year. Over the course of the week participants describe and listen to dreams and experience some of the ways dreams are useful in their lives. Generally participants find the week deeply moving and report a shared appreciation of the psychological nourishment available through dreams.

More details of the group as well as booking information can be found  on the Marlborough College Summer School website.
